These days, political pressure seems to be focused on me-me-me whether of individuals or nations, with little concern about responsibility for others.

This new site will provide resources to Remember Responsibility.

Responsibility for Climate Change

In the past year or so, climate and environmental responsibility seems to have gone off the political and media agenda. The only people who are talking about it are those who want to attack it.

But climate change is still happening and is still important. So climate and environmental responsibility and Net Zero need support and defence. The media, at least BBC Radio 4, is not putting up anyone to defend it.

If the politicians and media are not defending it, we can - we 'ordinary' people.

So here are leaflets and a poster for us to download and distribute.

A6 double-sided
for handing out A4 single-sided
for windows & boards

Four A6 2-sided leaflets for handing out and leaving in piles on counters.

Instructions:

1. Download 2-sided leaflet with four A6 per page as pdf.
2. Print many copies of this, double-sided.
3. Carefully cut it up into quarters to give small, A6, pocket-sized, two-sided leaflets. (You should get 2-sided leaflets with different writing on each side. Tip: Neater than using scissors, use a guillotine or a sharp knife with straightedge or ruler.)
4. Distribute them.

In shops: Ask shopkeepers if they will kindly put a pile of the leaflets on the counter for people to notice and take (this is why the two main messages are in big clear print).
In houses: Go round the neighbourhood, putting the leaflets into letterboxes.
In street: Stand in a busy street and hand them out.
On social media: And, of course, show them and recommend them on your social media. Send people the pdf and link to this site.

One A4 poster with two panels, for displaying in windows or on notice boards.

Instructions:

1. Download leaflet as pdf.
2. Print as many copies as you wish.

In community halls etc.: Ask if the poster may be displayed on their notice board or anywhere else.
In houses: Ask people if they would like to display the poster in their windows.
